Strictly Come Dancing 2017: Brendan Cole’s HUGE vow to Shirley Ballas amid explosive feud | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

The Strictly Come Dancing professional, who has been paired with Good Morning Britain host Charlotte Hawkins, clashed with Shirley Ballas, 57, during last Saturday’s live show after she accused him of breaking the rules.

Earlier this week, Brendan, 41, lashed out at the head judge, warning her to “keep her opinions to herself”.

What’s more, he continued his tirade against both Craig Revel Horwood, 52, and Bruno Tonioli, 61, but this evening he vowed to keep his mouth shut.

“For the people out there that I’ve offended by having an opinion on what we did out there, we’ve got to make this about Charlotte, 42, and what she is doing on the show,” he stressed.

“[Charlotte] did such a good job on Saturday, and I was really disappointed not to have a bit more positive feedback for her so going into the week, we can [see] that we’ve made progress and are going to keep on making progress.

“Your emotions are high. You do tend to get [emotional]… This week, we’re going to have some masking tape ready. I will not say anything. This is my promise to Charlotte and the nation!”

Charlotte teased: “I’ve been training him to zip it.”

Also in tonight’s It Takes Two, fellow competitor Simon Rimmer, 54, revealed his partner Karen Clifton is taking extreme measures to whip him into shape.

Karen, 35, has begun biting, pinching and hissing at the Sunday Brunch star, to ensure he doesn’t land in the bottom two for a second consecutive week.

It Takes Two continues tomorrow at 6pm on BBC Two while Strictly Come Dancing returns Saturday at 6.45pm on BBC One.
